Today is the day that you're going to get that thing done!  Today is the day you will change your life.  Today is the day that you will write that blog.  Today is the day that you will inspire someone.  Today is the day you will meet someone special.  Today is the day you will step outside of your comfort zone.  Today is the day you will stand up for yourself.  Today is the day you say "no" when you wish you could say "yes".  Today is the day you protect your family.  Today is the day you prioritize your time.  Today is the day you choose to eat healthier.  Today is the day you go work out.  Today is the day you prioritize your health.  Today is the day you follow through on your promises.  Today is the day you sacrifice your time to help someone in need.  Today is the day you will declutter.  Today is the day you'll . . .

As if we don't have enough things on the to do list as it is, we keep adding more and more things and ideals to the list.  Be kind to yourself.  Prioritize what has to be done, and really consider if it all needs to be done by you!  If that thing on the list can really, truly only be done by you, then own it.  Don't let things get "too big" by putting them off. 

 

Here are a few helpful tips to get things done:

1) Schedule a block of time, and protect it!  This is the time you will use to accomplish the task at hand or at least to make true progress.

2) Ask for help.  Sometimes we work harder when we know our friends or family or coworkers are sacrificing to help us out.  If you need that motivation, get it!

3) Eat the elephant one bite at a time.  Progress, not perfection!

4) Decide to make it happen and then attack!

 

There's always something more on your plate, and one more thing to add to your list.  Do what you can, and don't sweat the rest.  Take care of yourself and your health, and you'll find that it's easier to prioritize and easier to get things done.  Put one foot in front of the other and just move.  You can do this!
