JULIE ARROYO
Owner/Lead Trainer
Julie is a Bay Area native, growing up in San Jose, CA. She has always loved being active and helping people, so as she was finishing her BA in Social Work it was a natural fit to join the fitness industry when she started coaching competitive swimming at the high school and club level for her “fun jobs”. Eventually she recognized her love for coaching and pursued a career coaching swimming to make a difference in the lives of students through sport. While struggling with her own weight issues and the increasing demands of a growing family, she decided to leave the coaching world and focus on getting healthy for herself and her family. Little did she know that buying the NASM Certified Personal Trainer book to do her own personal research and fitness planning would lead her into a life-changing career where she could help people make positive and lasting healthy lifestyle changes and still have time with her husband and family.
Training clients through the years has taught her so much about how to make an impact on the world, one client and family at a time. Fascinated by movement and posture’s effects on joint function and comfort, she prides herself on helping clients move better, reduce pain and discomfort, look better, feel better and live fuller lives. She loves helping clients improve and achieve their goals in weight loss, injury prevention and post-rehabilitation, sports performance, swimming technique and more. Her favorite sports are swimming, mountain biking and snowboarding, and when Julie’s not training clients or herself, you’ll most likely find her out and about with her best friend, husband and business partner Drew and their 3 beautiful kids (ages 3, 5, and 7).
